About Exaelitus

Biography:

I'm an avid gamer, having played MMOs back since Meridian 59 and Ultima Online were "current". Started "computing" on a TRS-80 (didn't even have access to a tape drive at first) then moved onto a "Mac Plus" and clone XT for a time. I'm both a Mac and PC person, would even learn Linux if I had the time.

Based on my interest in computers, I became a computer programmer learning Basic, Pascal, and C/C++, plus a handful of "misc languages". I'm currently working on two of my own "indie style" games, which will most likely be finished in the year 2050.

I am also an avid Pen-and-Paper RPGer! I GM about as much as I play, -- enjoy both. I've played/liked: Star Frontiers, D&D (the old versions), Top Secret, Espionage!, and Champions. Though as I get older it's losing it's luster. Since I like games and RPGs, it should come to no surprise that I like cRPG games the most, really dig strat/sim games (Civilization, MOO etc) don't really like FPS'es as much.

Born in the northern states ( USA ), lived some in the southern states, and then moved out West to California. Raised in various religions, became Saved after meeting my wife. While I don't subscribe to "belonging to a denomination" I could be described as a (literal) Bible-believing, Fundamentalist, Protestant. However, don't let that scare you, I don't think I'm perfect, or better than anyone else. I'm quite aware and admit that I have many flaws and have made many mistakes (and will do so in the future.)

I heard of BH and wanted to join because I'm Mystiana's real-life hubby!

How "Exaelitus" is pronounced:

"Ex" is pronounced as a Z
"ae" is pronounced as a long A, as in "David"
"litus" is pronounced similarly to "Litmus" but without the m

So, more like "Zale-it-uhss" than "Exa-leetis"
